Scintam Engineering Shortlisted for Prestigious National Entrepreneurship Award
We’re proud to announce that Scintam Engineering has been named a finalist in the 2025 Allica Bank Great British Entrepreneur Awards, shortlisted in the highly competitive Technology Entrepreneur of the Year category. This honour highlights Scintam’s commitment to innovation, impact, and engineering excellence.
Widely referred to as the “Grammys of Entrepreneurship,” the Great British Entrepreneur Awards (GBEA) celebrate the UK’s most exceptional entrepreneurial talent. This year’s awards attracted over 800 finalists from across the nation, all recognised for their pioneering spirit, transformative impact, and outstanding resilience in the face of today’s business challenges.
Being shortlisted places Scintam among the UK’s most exciting and impactful businesses, acknowledging the remarkable progress made since their founding. As a University of Nottingham spinout, Scintam has developed innovative systems like FastEDR, a portable electrical discharge machining (EDM) system that removes seized fasteners quickly, safely and without damage, and ARTES, an automated system that enables scalable remanufacturing.
